Problem :
Designing promotional materials for events like the Api Beci Tri-Fold Brochure, where multiple ESL schools come together, requires more than just basic layout skills. Promoting a vibrant-themed event in an already saturated educational and events market presents a unique challenge. With audiences constantly exposed to generic flyers and digital ads, many event brochures fail to grab attention or create lasting interest. Additionally, having previously focused on corporate-themed designs, adapting to a vibrant, youth-driven, and festive style posed a creative shift. The challenge was not only to create something visually striking but also to represent three distinct campuses and their features within a single cohesive layout, without overwhelming the reader.
Solution :
To overcome these challenges, I developed a vibrant and engaging tri-fold brochure tailored to the event's atmosphere. I stepped away from rigid, corporate aesthetics and embraced bold colors, playful typography, and vibrant-inspired graphics to instantly attract attention and evoke excitement. Each panel of the brochure was carefully planned to highlight one campus at a time, giving each its own visual identity while maintaining a unified, vibrant theme. Strategic use of icons, whitespace, and visual hierarchy ensured that the information remained readable and appealing. The result was a dynamic, eye-catching brochure that not only communicated the event details but also reflected the fun, collaborative spirit of the ESL community coming together.
